Lipbalm Collection and Storage

Hi everyone,
I thought I'd show you my lipbalm collection and how I store them.

My lipbalm storage consists of the lid of a Soap and Glory gift set and a little candle holder.
I store my lipbalms on top of my dressing table in front of my mirror, this is so I can grab one quickly as I leave the house and I always have them on hand.

Dirty Works Go Balmy! Lip Balm
This is a clear, moisturising, strawberry scented lipbalm. I bought this when it was reduced   down to 74p in Sainsburys a while ago. It's a nice lipbalm but not my favourite. :)

balance Me Rose Otto Intensive Lip Salve
I got this free with Glamour this month, it's quite an effective balm, definitely gets my lips nice and soft but the smell is a little weird. It kinda of smells like roses/turkish delight but it gets a bit overpowering.

The Beauty Parlour Mentha Lip Balm
This has a lovely sweet mint scent/flavour, I've been enjoying this recently.

Soap and Glory A Great Kisser Lip Balm in Sweet Coconut
This smells yummy and tropical, it's moisturising and has a very subtle shimmer to it.

Soap and Glory A Great Kisser Lip Balm in Juicy Peach
For me the smell of this is so strong! I'm not that keen on it even though it does a good job of moisturising the lips.

MUA Sweet Kiss Lip Balm
This is part of the MUA Lovehearts range, it only costs £2. This balm has a vanillary fragrance and a subtle pink tint.

Avon Care Rich Moisture Lip Balm
I got this a couple of Christmas' ago, it smells yummy and like melon.

The Body Shop Coconut Lip Roll On
This is a lip moisturiser made from olive and soya oils, it has a slight scent of coconut and feels a bit greasy on the lips.

Cherry Chapstick
I reaally don't like the smell or taste of this, it reminds me of cough medicine.

Avon Colour Trend Lipbalms in Hot Chocolate and Strawberry Sorbet
These aren't the best lipbalms quality wise but they smell so yummy! And they are fairly moisturising. The strawberry one smells like sweets! The hot chocolate one smells like cheap chocolate. :)

Swizzels Matlow Double Dip Cherry Flavour Lipbalm
I got all the sweeties themed lipbalms above in a gift pack at Christmas, I just couldn't resist buying them. :)
The Double Dip lip balm is lovely! It's very moisturising and lasts quite a long time on the lips. It has such a delicious cherry smell!

Swizzels Matlow Rainbow Drops Strawberry Flavour Lipbalm
I love rainbow drops! This lipbalm didn't smell/taste much like them but its a nice, creamy strawberry lip balm.

Swizzels Matlow Double Lollies Pineapple Flavour Lipbalm
I was so excited to try this when I got it, the idea of a pineapple flavoured lipbalm is awesome! It doesn't smell very strongly of pineapple but there is a nice hint of it.

Swizzels Matlow Drumstick Raspberry and Vanilla Flavour Lipbalm
I love this lipbalm! It smells amazing! The mixture of raspberry and vanilla together has to be one of my favourite scents. The lip balm is really moisturising and creamy too.

Cupcake Flavoured Lipbalm
I really wanted this to be amazing, the packaging is so pretty but when I opened the product to use it the smell of paint/wood varnish just totally put me off. It at least still looks pretty on my dressing table. :)

Thanks for reading,

p.s. Sorry I've been a but absent recently, I've just been so busy! :) Will try and get back into regular posts asap!

How Much Does My Face Cost?

Hi everyone,

I've seen this 'How much does my face cost?' tag around quite a lot recently and I was very curious to see how much I've spent on the stuff I stick on my face everyday! :D

So here's what I use pretty much everyday!

Urban Decay Naked Palette - £36
Bourjois 123 Perfect Foundation - £10.99
MUA Eye Primer - £2.50
MUA Clear Mascara - £1
MUA Powder - £1
Bourjois Delice de Poudre Bronzer - £6.99
Maybelline Colossal Volume Express Mascara - £7.19
MAC Mineralize Skin Finish in Soft and Gentle - £21.50
Urban Decay 24/7 Concealer in FBI - £12
Rimmel Lash Accelerator Mascara - £8.99
L'oreal Rouge Caresse in Aphrodite Scarlett - £7.99

= £116.15!

Soo that's quite a lot of money to buy just the things I need for a normal face of make up!

I'd love to tag Charlotte from Something Special To Say to do this!

Hi Everyone!

For £1.99 this mascara is pretty good and could do with being used up.

This mascara is really good, but this sample is quite old so I want to get it finished.

MUA Sweet Kiss Lip Balm
This lip balm is lovely and moisturising, it smells great too!

L'oreal Infallible Eyeshadow in Sahara Treasure
When I swatched this I fell totally in love with it but I don't really reach for it often.

Urban Decay Primer Potion - Depotted
I've had this hanging around for ages, really need to finish it!

17 Lipstick in Beehive
This is a sheer glossy nude lipstick, it'll be great for an everyday lip colour.

This primer is so great, it adds so much radiance to my complexion.

Wet n Wild Petal Pusher Palette
I was lucky enough to win this in a giveaway and I want to make more use of the gorgeous purple shades in it.

NOTD - Illamasqua Bacterium...

Hi everyone,
So here's a NOTD featuring one of my newest polishes, it's an Illamasqua polish called first of all doesn't that name just sound gross and make you wanna be sick?
Maybe it's because I'm recovering from a stomach bug but I feel that incorporating  the word bacteria(well kind of) into the name of a nail polish is a tad wrong.

But anyway it's a very interesting and pretty polish :)

Illamasqua describes this polish as 'A pearlescent ash ochre'.

I'd describe it as a kind of taupey colour. :)

I applied two coats and it went on a little streaky but otherwise fine. I put a coat of BarryM's Pink Iridescent on my accent nail and topped it all off with Seche Vite.
