September Favourites

Hi everyone,
Here are my favourite products for September!

Real Techniques
Buffing Brush, Contour Brush, Pointed Foundation Brush
I love these brushes! I've been using these everyday! The buffing brush is perfect for applying liquid foundation, the pointed foundation brush is great for blending in concealer and the I've been loving using the contour brush for applying highlighter.

YSL Teint Touche Eclat Foundation
This foundation is lovely, it's quite a light coverage foundation but gives a radiant dewy finish. I don't find that this gives me as much coverage as I'd like so I mix it with my Bourjois foundation, I love the combination.

L'oreal Super Liner in Black Diamond
I really suck at applying liquid liner, I can never get a thin enough line and always end up getting it all wonky. The applicator of this eyeliner is so easy to use! I can get an almost perfect, thin line of eyeliner on my upper lash line. The flexible nib means you can just gently press the liner into your lash line without it turning out to thick.

Sleek Storm Palette
This is a bit of a rediscovered favourite, I hadn't used it for a while but I was using it a lot during September. I've been loving using the light matte brown as a brow powder and as an all over lid colour, I've also enjoyed playing around with some of the darker colours for creating a smokey eye.

L'oreal Caresse in Rock 'N Mauve
I love these Caresse lipsticks and this shade is no exception, check out my full review of this product here.

MAC Craving Lipstick
I've been loving wearing this for nights out, it's a gorgeous, sophisticated berry colour. The formula is so creamy and very pigmented.

GOSH Soft 'N Shine Lip Balm in Perfect Plum
This is a really wearable sheer berry lip colour, perfect for the day time. You could apply this on the go without a mirror, love it. There will be a more in depth review of these lip products coming your way soon.

(L-R L'oreal, MAC, GOSH)

What were you loving in September?

Collective Nail Polish Haul

Hi everyone,

I thought I'd share with you some of the nail polishes I've bought in the last couple of months.

I picked up these three Models Own polishes from TK Maxx for only £9.99, a pretty good bargain. :)

Model's Own Peacock
This is a rich emerald green colour, it's also slightly teal and has a pearly sheen. It's featured in this NOTD.

Model's Own Champagne
This is such a beautiful shimmery champagne colour, it looks so pretty with a glitter topcoat over it.

Model's Own Pink Lady
This is an amazing hot pink which has a kind of blue shimmery colour running through it.

Essie Your Hut Or Mine
I'm in love with this polish, it's bright yet sophisticated and has a subtle gold shimmer running through it.

The next three polishes I bought from TK Maxx for £7, for all three!

Essie Island Hopping
This is a rich plum mauve polish, it's a really unusual colour that I have nothing like in my collection.

Essie Oui Madame
This is a white pearl polish, it's quite sheer and needs a lot of coats to get an opaque finish!

Essie Aperitif
This is a lovely rich red, it needs a couple of coats for full coverage.

I got these two L'oreal polishes as a free gift when purchasing some other L'oreal products!

L'oreal You're Worth It
This is a pale blue grey polish, it's pretty opaque and very shiny!

L'oreal Opulent Pink
This is a stunning hot pink, it's a rich, bright pink which is perfect for wearing toenails.

A England Lady Of The Lake
My sister in law bought me this gorgeous polish as a belated birthday gift. It's a lovely purple with holographic shimmer.

YSL Purple Black
I think this is such an unusual colour, it's black with a kind of purple undertone.

I bought these OPI polishes in a set for only £9.99 :D

OPI Plum And Get It
This is a nice royal purple, it's a bit sheer though and needs a few coats for an opaque finish.

OPI Born Red-y
This is a great classic red which is fairly opaque and has a nice shine.

OPI Navy Shatter
I've not actually tried this out yet, I'm not that into shatter polishes but this is a really nice colour.

Small Holiday Haul

Hi everyone,
So a couple of weeks ago I went on holiday with my boyfriend, his parents and his grandma to Weymouth in Dorset. To be honest it was a bit of a strange/not so great holiday, we went camping which I wasn't crazy about but it was ok, despite the heavy rain! The biggest problem was my boyfriend got very ill with food poisoning/a stomach bug the day before we went home, it was awful he was so ill and I really didn't think he'd be ok to drive us home the next day. But thankfully he was ok and we had a couple of nice days out with decent weather and some yummy meals.

But anyway! Here are the make up items that I spent my holiday money on....

Sleek Blush in Rose Gold - £4.50
I've heard so many great things about this blush and about sleek blushes in general that when I saw this in stock in Weymouth Superdrug I just had to pick it up. It's supposed to me a dupe for NARS Orgasm, I havn't really worn this since I bought it as I'm not that sure how to wear it...sounds weird I know. The quality feels amazing and the pigmentation is great though!

YSL Teint Touche Eclat Foundation in B50 - £28
I felt totally crazy spending this amount of money on a foundation but I've wanted it for ages! I had a sample of it and fell in love with it, it makes my skin look so radiant.

MAC Amplified Creme Lipstick in Craving - £14
On the drive down to Weymouth we made a fliying visit to the Trafford Centre because my boyfriend wanted to go to the Lego shop!(Don't ask!!) So I made a mad dash to the MAC counter. Emilynoel on Youtube had reccomended this lipstick, she said it was a gorgeous berry shade from MAC. Basically I swatched it, fell in love with it and bought it! Not much more to say! :D

Haul - A Girly Weekend Away!(Mini Reviews)

Hi everyone!
Sorry I havn't posted in almost a week!
My internet broke and Sky didn't send us new router until Friday, and on Friday morning I went away for the weekend :)
I went for a girly weekend in Chester and indulged in some shopping!

So here's what I bought...
Sorry the picture's not great! :D

So let's start off with the most exciting bit! The MAC make up! My first MAC purchases :)

MAC Mineralize Skin Finish in Soft and Gentle
I've wanted this for ages! It's so pretty and I loved wearing it on a night out in Chester.

MAC Cremesheen Lipstick in Speed Dial
This is a nice creamy pink that I think flatters my skin tone pretty well. I love the scent of this lipstick!

MAC Pearlmatte Face Powder in Flower Fantasy
I picked this up from a discount cosmetics shop in Cheshire Oaks, It only cost about £15.  :)

I also picked up something lovely from MAC to include in my upcoming giveaway :)

Frontcover Palette and 4 Single Eyeshadows
This was such a bargain! I got an empty palette with a brush, reduced down to £1.25 and then four single shadows for £1 each. I got the shades 'Black Ink', 'Pale Gold', 'Sunray' and 'Powder Puff'. The shadows are really nice and pretty pigmented, my favourite one is Powder Puff, it's a shimmery champagne colour.

MUA Lipsticks in Shades 3 and 4
These lipsticks are great, especially for a quid! Shade 4 is sheer, bubblegummy pink which is super moisturising. Shade 3 is a deep berry pink and is really pigmented, it's also nice and creamy.

Claire's Cosmetics Nail Varnish
This nail varnish has no name :( But it's gorgeous! It has chunky pink and blue glitter in it with fine specks of purple glitter. I loves it :D

Maybelline Colour Tattoo in Turquoise Forever
This is an amazing bright turquoise colour! I'm thinking of using this as a liner on my lower lash line, with the bronze colour tattoo on my lid.

L'oreal Colour Infaillible Eyeshadow in Time Resist White
I already have two of these colour infaillible shadows and they're really great so I thought I'd pick up this white shadow for highlighting my inner eye corner. This is so soft and pigmented.

L'oreal Caresse in Sweet Berry
I've wanted this for weeks but have never been able to find this colour in stock, its a soft, subtle berry colour which is a really wearable everyday colour for me.

No7 Concealer Brush
I bought this using a No7 voucher and it is so soft! It retails for £8 but I got it for £3, as the name suggests it is fantastic for blending concealer and I'd definitely purchase another, even at full price.

Cargo Double Ended Primer Mascara Lash Activator Extreme
This mascara retails for £23 but Boots had it for 75% off, so I decided to give it a go. I've only used it once, but I feel like the primer did make quite a difference to my lashes.

YSL Le Teint Touche Eclat Foundation Sample
I was colour matched as the shade B50, I've not tried it out yet but I thought it was lovely to get a free 7 day trial of this new foundation. :)

DKNY Be Delicious Fresh Blossom Perfume and Body Lotion
This is a lovely fresh, summery floral scent. Perfect for summer!

Avene Soothing Hydrating Serum
I've been using this for a few days and so far I love it, it's really made my skin feel a lot smoother.

Boots Botanics Night Shift Moisture Cream
This was reduced down to £2.49 in my local Boots, It's really nice and hydrating. I'm really enjoying this so far.

Sorry for such a long post! I've been missing blogging this week :)
I hope these mini reviews will help some of you out if you're looking into buying any of these things.
If you've got a No7 Voucher hanging around, give the concealer brush a go, for £3 it won't dissapoint. :D

I've been wanting to try a MAC lipstick for aages and I just love the look of this pinky nude.

This sounds like a lovely sheer, moisturising lip product. I also love the names!

Urban Decay Lip Junkie Lip Gloss - £13 - Debenhams
I already have these in two colours, Naked and Midnight Cowboy, but I love the formula and the scent so I'd love to check out the rest of the colours in the range.
